My childhood friend had been disturbed by LEAK (a form of Balinese black magic) almost every night. Once I stayed in her residence. Coincidentally, it was Saturday night, when the weekly session of Kundalini meditation of Mr. Darmayasa takes place.

We were in a nostalgic mood and remembering how we were playing in the paddy fields in the village in aur childhood times. Suddenly there was a strange feeling disturbing me, attack me to be more precise. As if bound without rope by a powerful force.

I yelled and let Nengah Darmi (my friend’s name) know that we were under attack of Leak. I asked her to bring me the holy water that was given by Mr. Darmayasa to me which a part of it I gave to her too with a thought that probably she needed it more.

When my friend was about to take the water, out of nothing, she was pushed back. It seemed that the Leak was hiding under the altar where she kept the water. Somehow she succeeded in taking it and brought it to me.

I sprinkled the water on my head and some of them I drank. Suddenly I got a vision; I could see the thing, clearly. Startled, but not frightened, there, in front of me, a form of big blackish creature. Stooping as if hiding its face behind its hair that was long but not in order, frightening. Its hands were hairy and its nails were long. When the creature walk past the television, suddenly it turn its head looking at me and moved to caught hold of me as if it wanted to swallow me alive. I cried God’s name, it retreated a bit but still in the room.

Immediately I sat for meditation. Strange, the creature was gone, no where to be seen. I stop meditation, descended from the seat and light a candle and incense sticks as much as the number I had chosen for meditation. As soon as I stick the incense into the ground in the yard, there was a loud cry of pain came from our next door neighbour. We were startled by the cry but then realized that there was “something” in connection with the incident. We continued with meditation, then fall asleep.

Early in the morning, the next day, the lady of our next door neighbour came out of her room with reddish eyes and blushing in shame. She suffered eyesore for a couple of days. From that night incident onwards my friend was feeling relieve, free from the disturbance of Leak.(Puspha)
